I started reading Donna's book this morning and Bern's story about how his 10 year old son motivated him to participate had me in tears only a few paragraphs in. I think this will be a healing read. I'm grateful to the truckers for changing Canadian history for the better even though the country as a whole doesn't recognize them as heroes. I'm grateful to have access to their stories despite all the opposition and gaslighting.
